Meet
This diamond slice was mined in Botswana and then laser cut in India. It's translucent with a pattern of inclusions radiating outwards in various shades of grey.
The diamond slice itself measures 8.2 x 6.4 mm. It's like a tiny lens changing how you look at the world, a full and open heart ready for what is. It's flanked by 3 pale salt and pepper diamonds on each side.
The diamonds are securely set in 18 karat gold. This gold was responsibly mined by indigenous Dayak women in Central Kalimantan, who receive a premium for their gold in exchange for using low impact techniques that are free of mercury and cyanide. These awesome ladies worked with me from the beginning and even worked with me when I made an oops and had to change things around. They were very accommodating and flexible to my needs and I couldn’t be happier with the end result!!
