Conflict free diamonds

The diamonds used in this jewelry have been purchased from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflict and in compliance with United Nations resolutions. Based on personal knowledge and/or written guarantees provided by the supplier of these diamonds they are conflict free and mined in accordance with the Kimberley Process.

Gardens of the Sun goes beyond conflict free. Since our sourcing policy came into effect in November 2018 we only purchase diamonds from known origins. We avoid sourcing diamonds from Angola, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Russia (last purchased in 2019), Sierra Leone and Zimbabwe.

• DBP1 - 0.55 ct sparkling pear diamond from Kalimantan, Indonesia. This white diamond has the tiniest black inclusions. Ethically sourced from artisanal diamond miners in Indonesian Borneo. Graded as faint yellow (K), SI2 clarity, fair polish and good symmetry. Measures 6.19 x 4.26 x 3.11 mm. Comes with a LPSB (government owned lab) diamond certificate report, graded by a GIA graduate gemologist. 
• DBP3- 0.52 ct pear diamond from Borneo, Indonesia. Geometric pear cut that borders a shield cut. The chic sister of the salt and pepper diamond, this modified pear cut diamond has a pale yellow undertone and small black pepper sprinkle in its belly. Would look beautiful in yellow gold. Ethically sourced from artisanal diamond miners in Indonesian Borneo. Graded as very light greenish yellow (N), SI2 clarity, good polish and fair symmetry. Measures 5.34 x 4.88 x 2.88 mm. Comes with a LPSB (government owned lab) diamond certificate report, graded by a GIA graduate gemologist. 
• DBP4 - 0.20 ct mixed pear diamond from Borneo, Indonesia. Crystal clear in presence and in intent, this dainty little pear diamond is has a strong, assertive soul. Meant for someone who wrangles dreams and turns them into reality. Graded as faint yellow (M), SI1 clarity. Measures 4.63 x 3.79 x 1.49 mm. Comes with diamond memo from SKGL, a women-owned lab in South Kalimantan, graded by a female GIA graduate gemologist. 
• DBP5 - 0.36 ct icy elongated pear diamond from South Africa, cut in India. Glowing light gray pear diamond with the tiniest black pepper sprinkles throughout the diamond. Measures 6.4 x 3.4 x 2.4 mm.
• DBP7 - 1.01 ct sparkling salt and pepper diamond from South Africa, cut in India. A very light salt and pepper diamond with icy snowflakes throughout. Measures 7.1 x 5.2 x 3.7 mm.
• DBP8 - 1.28 ct icy gray diamond from South Africa, cut in India. Lots of salt, some red and charcoal black inclusions, and an overall icy glow. Measures 8.0 x 5.2 x 3.8 mm.
