Soap Nuts in Tin
Soap nuts come from the Arborio Sapindus tree, which grows throughout Indonesia.
Some assume that tarnished jewelry and dull gems call for the use of harsh cleaners, yet I find that you actually need to be extra gentle. Especially for jewelry with gemstones, you don't want to expose the gems to any chemicals as it might damage them. This all natural mini bundle of soap nuts is a beautiful and natural way of cleaning your precious jewelry.
Your little patterned tin contains at least 5 soap nuts for eco-friendly jewelry cleaning.
How to
- Get a little jar or bowl with purified water at room temperature + a soft, clean toothbrush + a clean fine cloth
- Rub the soap nut with the wet toothbrush until it foams
- Gently clean your jewelry with this foam and the toothbrush
- Dip the jewelry into the purified water after you've cleaned it
- Dry the jewelry thoroughly with a clean cloth. Moist jewelry tends to tarnish quickly, so you really want it to be dry!
