Custom Birthstone Bracelet in Sterling Silver
A celebration of those who mean the most to you! This custom birthstone bracelet is part of our personalized birthstone jewelry series, where you get to design your own multiple birthstone bracelet. We use real gemstones representing the date of birth of your loved ones.
Your custom bracelet design
Pick your birthstones — any month, any shape, any color. Want a family birthstone bracelet? A mother’s bracelet? Or just a wearable timeline of your weirdest and most wonderful milestones? All you need is a list of birth months or those moments you want to celebrate.
Here’s how it works: you dream it up, we make it by hand. No templates, no assembly line. Just a custom birthstone bracelet built for your story from the very first sketch.
Choose your bracelet style
Each birthstone will be wrapped in a classic bezel setting with silver all the way around it. These are your style options:
- Gems dangling individually like charms or pendants
- Gems set directly in the chain (horizontal), so they don't dangle but lie flat against your skin
- Any combination of this
Engraveable birthstone bracelet
- 6 mm coin (handwritten symbol or initial up to 3 characters)
- 12 mm x 5 mm tag (handwritten engraving up to 6 characters, vertical)
Your bracelet coin can be engraved with initials or a symbol and comes with a hammered pattern on the edges. If you'd like to add more inscriptions, you can choose an engraved tag to add an initial, a date, a cryptic code, or the nickname only your family gets. All personalization is done by hand, not stamped.
Choose your chain and length
Pick your favorite: a dainty link chain or a rope chain, both shown in the photos. We can make your bracelet in any length you need. If your ideal size isn’t listed, just select ‘other’ and leave a note at checkout and we’ll make it happen. Each bracelet can also be shortened up to 2 cm (a little under an inch) with a special extension chain.
The most common bracelet size is 16.5 cm (6.5"). To find your fit, wrap a flexible tape measure around your wrist where you want to wear the bracelet, then slide a finger underneath for a comfy fit.
If you’re between sizes or unsure, go with the larger size. You can always adjust it to be smaller.

There's a production time of 6 to 8 weeks as we handcraft your personalized birthstone bracelet.
The base price is for a single birthstone bracelet. Each additional birthstone is $20 extra. There's a surcharge for more expensive gems like diamonds. Want more than five birthstones? The website only shows options up to five, but we can of course add more. Just send us an email to make it happen.
Since your custom birthstone bracelet will be made especially for you, we don’t accept returns.
Free mockups beforehand
You can get up to three free mockups for your customized bracelet before we start making it. We’ll show you different layouts and gemstone placements so you can see what feels right. You can tweak the bracelet design until it matches your vision. No surprises, just a bracelet that feels entirely yours.
Pictures when it's done
Once your custom birthstone bracelet is finished, we’ll send photos before it ships so you can make sure it’s everything you imagined. Please make sure our emails land in your inbox and not your spam folder to avoid delays.
Recycled sterling silver
We work with a local refiner who recycles silver from post-consumer sources, like old jewelry, silverware, and even silver recovered from x-rays and other medical waste. This doesn’t stop new silver from being mined (most silver is a byproduct of other metals anyway), but it does cut emissions by about 8x compared to newly mined silver. And it keeps what already exists in circulation, instead of letting it go to waste.
Want to join in? If you have old silver jewelry or silverware gathering dust, you can bring it to our showroom. We’ll recycle it and give you shop credit in return.

I'm very happy with how my ring turned out and the excellent customer service at Gardens of the Sun. I'll give some context on why i chose Gardens of the Sun. I had gotten married and my husband and I bought each other simple wedding bands. The entire process of getting married was very simple and happened fairly quickly, we had no engagement and thus no engagement rings and our ceremony was a quick solemnisation witnessed by 50 of our closest friends and family members. My husband wanted to gift me with another ring, this time with a diamond or gemstone topping it. And because of my picky nature, he let me choose the shop and design myself. Of course I wanted a gorgeous ring but what was equally important to me were three additional requirements: I wanted the ring to come from a small company, not large brands like Tiffany; I wanted the ring to improve and support the community it operates it and not just profiting the owners; and I wanted all the components of the ring to be sourced ethically. It was mightily difficult to find a company that meets my requirements and falls within the budget so I was very much over the moon when i found Gardens of the Sun on instagram!
I can't emphasize enough how beautiful the ring in person, I gasped when I first saw it. The gemstone is a 2.44 carat sapphire sourced from Tanzania. I love its details like the minor inclusions and how in different lights, it could look mossy-green or verdant green.
Thank you to the team, especially Rissa for patiently answering my numerous queries! If you're considering getting a custom ring, do it! My only advice is that it does take quite a long time (at least 10 weeks) so do factor that into your timeline!
