In the diamond fields, miners often use "galuh", which means "virgin." It’s rooted in a belief that saying the word “diamond” out loud brings bad luck. So instead, they call it galuh, out of respect and superstition.

Our sapphires are mined by indigenous Dayak miners in Kalimantan, Indonesia. We source these sapphires directly and work with cutters around the world to have them polished to international standards.
