This one of a kind necklace is crafted in recycled sterling silver. A rough light blue Montana sapphire from Rock Creek, possibly heated, takes center stage, with a tiny round brilliant cut Montana sapphire at its side, sparkling like a secret shared.

From their union dangles an elongated hexagon cut bicolor green tourmaline from Brazil, shifting colors as boldly as a chameleon: near black at the crown, olive green in the middle, ending in a glowing teal green tip.

At 56 cm or 22 inches, each stone is securely set in a bezel setting, so you can carry this wild, playful mix of energies close.

We work with a local refiner who recycles silver from post-consumer sources, like old jewelry, silverware, and even silver recovered from x-rays and other medical waste. This doesn’t stop new silver from being mined (most silver is a byproduct of other metals anyway), but it does cut emissions by about 8x compared to newly mined silver. And it keeps what already exists in circulation, instead of letting it go to waste.
