Forget the engagement ring. There’s a new way to start your stack — the boyfriend stacker!
The boyfriend stacker is an expression of your personal style and story. On that note, it should go without saying that this stacker is for anyone and everyone.
The boyfriend stacker is exactly that – a stacking band that can be worn by both him and her. Wear it by yourself, or get them as “his and hers" matching bands (or “hers and hers”... or ‘his and his”... Define love on your own terms!).
Our unisex boyfriend stacker comes in multiple sizes, widths, and three different finishes: wabi sabi, turtle and shadow:
The sizes listed are the sizes in stock. Your size out of stock? Have yours made here.
We use traditional metalsmithing techniques rather than wax carving, which means that we make our rings one by one, and that the textures are created by hand for each individual ring. As a result, each pattern is completely unique. Kind of like you.
Unlike the smooth silver ring you see on everyone’s fingers, this ring features a black rhodium plating or oxidized silver finish. Every single indent is created or hammered by hand with strength and precision, to create a distressed texture. The inside of the band is smooth and flat, with a slight D-shaped curve on the outside of the ring, for comfortable everyday wear.
Perfect for those who work with their hands, enjoy outdoor activities and like a rugged look - for those who want something that’s off the beaten path and with a masculine edge. Whatever the reason, these are bound to get your heart pounding.
Boyfriend rings? Totally a thing.
Keep in mind that black rhodium isn’t an alloy, it’s a plating. Even though rhodium itself helps as a scratch-resistant, sooner or later, the color will fade and need another finishing.
Oxidized silver is technically a sped up tarnishing process. But since it’s only done on the surface, it doesn’t affect the durability and the properties of the metal. That being said, over time, the surface layer may come off and reveal the sterling silver underneath. Humidity and pollution definitely play a role, as does the level of sebum in your skin.
The boyfriend stacker is also available in 18 karat white, yellow or rose gold.
