Dainty Signet Ring
You're a special kind of human - you care what you give, not just what you take.
By now, you know we're all about ethical jewelry.
By now, you might know we partner with indigenous women miners in Indonesian Borneo to go mercury free.
You might know these women are getting paid a premium to ditch mercury and cyanide, and opt for a safer and more sustainable way to mine gold.
On top of that, they pledged to go deforestation free too.
By supporting indigenous women to mine gold in better ways, we're not only creating a healthier and safer workplace for these women. We're also helping them make more money. And with more money, they can make better choices for their family’s futures.
But there's more to it than just that.
You see, the gold supply is dwindling, and they‘re panning less gold every single day.
That's why we're setting up a microfinance fund.
This fund offers these women the financial opportunities they need to set up their own small businesses and become financially independent.
Your support means so much more than a transaction.
For every dainty signet ring sold, $100 will go to a micro-finance fund for the women miners who mined the gold for these rings.
By choosing ethical gold, you're not only getting something beautiful. You're making a statement about the kind of world you want to live in - one that gives a damn about workers' rights and the environment. You're showing that you care about people and the planet.
Talk about an extraordinary way to make a real difference in our world.
So go ahead, show the world what you stand for.
We have a US size 5.5 ring in stock. This one is engraved with a gold pan and 3 gold flakes, the logo of the women's gold mining group we partner with for our ethical gold.
Other sizes can be made to order with the hand engraving of your choice. This takes around 6 to 9 weeks.
Our signature ethical gold
We use 18 karat ethical gold, which is mined and processed with traditional, mercury free, low impact practices by indigenous Dayak women in Central Kalimantan, Indonesian Borneo, who receive fair pay.
