Custom Bicolor Sapphire Ring in Gold

Choosing your bicolor sapphire is like picking the perfect playlist for a road trip that might end with whale spotting at a nudie beach or in a packed midnight diner. There’s pink with blue spots, blue and white sapphires, green with flashes of yellow, or gems that look like the sky trying to make up its mind about the weather. Every custom bicolor sapphire ring is a silent protest against easy choices, a badge for those who embrace life’s in-betweens.

Designing yours couldn’t be simpler. You pick your sapphire, pick your gold, decide on the setting, maybe throw in a diamond just for fun. This is for people who read three books at once, who wear mismatched socks on purpose, who think life is too short for a favorite color. There’s no wrong way to go, except maybe not going weird enough.

Sapphire

Sapphire is the September birthstone. This original love rock is a powerful stone to gather strength. Sapphire symbolizes wisdom, loyalty and faith. She was once believed to protect your loved ones from harm.

At first glance, sapphire gleams with power and strength, but her true colors shine within kindness and hope, that’s the stone’s real secret sauce. Sapphire lets us get real because she offers great wisdom of intuitive truth, insight, and healing. A symbol of friendship and peace and a shield from negative energy.

Bicolor sapphire meaning

Bicolor sapphires carry the energy of transition, curiosity and “why not both?” Each gemstone holds the tension of change, blending two worlds in a single glance. Bicolor sapphire meaning is about seeing complexity as beautiful, finding comfort in contradictions and leaning into the unexpected.

This gem is a symbol for people who live in the hyphens: artist-scientists, teacher-dancers, morning people who love midnight snacks. Bicolor sapphires remind you that life isn’t an either-or, it’s an “and”.

Your custom bicolor sapphire ring design

Metal

You can choose from 18 karat yellow gold, rose gold or white gold. We use 18 karat ethical gold, which is mined and processed with traditional, mercury free, low impact practices by indigenous Dayak women in Central Kalimantan, Indonesian Borneo, who receive fair pay. Our white gold is rhodium plated.

Ring size

Setting

You can choose between a bezel setting, which has the gold all the way around the stone and a prong setting, where small claws hold the stone. Not sure which setting is right for you? Compare bezel vs prong setting here.

Bicolor sapphire and diamond ring

Want to add some extra sparkle? Pave diamonds in the ring band can really elevate the look of your ring. Choose between salt and pepper diamonds (the rebellious budget option) or white diamonds (G-H color, SI clarity).

Conflict free diamonds

The diamonds used in this jewelry have been purchased from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflict and in compliance with United Nations resolutions. Based on personal knowledge and/or written guarantees provided by the supplier of these diamonds they are conflict free and mined in accordance with the Kimberley Process.

Gardens of the Sun goes beyond conflict free. Since our sourcing policy came into effect in November 2018 we only purchase diamonds from known origins. We avoid sourcing diamonds from Angola, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Russia (last purchased in 2019), Sierra Leone and Zimbabwe.

Is it a bicolor sapphire engagement ring?

Are you planning on using this as a bicolor sapphire engagement ring? Ask us to keep the exact measurements of your sapphire. This way, if you decide to also get a wedding band or nesting band from us, we can help make sure it fits perfectly.

A bicolor sapphire engagement ring says love can be more than one thing at once. It celebrates partnerships built on difference and connection, the kind where your strengths fill in their gaps and vice versa.

When you choose a bicolor sapphire ring, you say yes to a future that changes its mind, to a love story that doesn’t need a tidy ending and to waking up next to someone who thinks pineapple on pizza is a debate worth having. This is the ring for the complicated, the curious and the joyfully indecisive.
