We’re making this for you, from scratch

Your custom oval rose cut diamond ring will be made to order with the rose cut diamond of your choice in around 8 to 12 weeks. You'll receive a photo before we ship it out. The price is for one finished ring in 18 karat eco gold.

Your custom ring design

Metal

You can choose from 18 karat yellow gold, rose gold or white gold. We use 18 karat ethical gold, which is mined and processed with traditional, mercury free, low impact practices by indigenous Dayak women in Central Kalimantan, Indonesian Borneo, who receive fair pay. Our white gold is rhodium plated.

Setting

You can choose between a bezel setting, which has the gold all the way around the stone and a prong setting, where small claws hold the stone. Not sure which setting is right for you? Compare bezel vs prong setting here.

Diamonds in band

Want to add some extra sparkle? Pave diamonds in the ring band can really elevate the look of your ring. Choose between salt and pepper diamonds (the rebellious budget option) or white diamonds (G-H color, SI clarity).

Conflict free diamonds

The diamonds used in this jewelry have been purchased from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflict and in compliance with United Nations resolutions. Based on personal knowledge and/or written guarantees provided by the supplier of these diamonds they are conflict free and mined in accordance with the Kimberley Process.

Gardens of the Sun goes beyond conflict free. Since our sourcing policy came into effect in November 2018 we only purchase diamonds from known origins. We avoid sourcing diamonds from Angola, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Russia (last purchased in 2019), Sierra Leone and Zimbabwe.

This diamond has a freeform shape, like an asymmetric oval. Milky gray color with a dark inclusion in its belly. This diamond has some natural pits on the surface on the side, and these imperfections are reflected in the price. A bezel setting would cover some of the pits. Sister stone to ROV1. ROV3 - 0.54 ct yellow oval diamond

Warm yellow diamond with clouds and black pepper sprinkles. A little thicker than a diamond slice, with checkerboard facets. Sister stone to ROV4. Mined in Botswana, cut in India. Measures 7.5 x 5.3 mm.

ROV4 - 0.49 ct oval yellow diamond

Fresh yellow diamond with an internal flaw and black pepper inclusions. A little thicker than a diamond slice, with checkerboard facets. Sister stone to ROV3. Mined in Botswana, cut in India. Measures 7.4 x 5.3 mm.

ROV5 - 0.63 ct oval speckled diamond

Rose cut oval diamond that is slightly translucent, featuring flecks of inclusions and slightly dark vignetting around the edges. Mined in Botswana, cut in India. Measures 6.0 x 4.7 x 2.6 mm.

ROV6 - 0.81 ct veined oval diamond

This rose cut oval diamond has a dark gray complexion and veined inclusions that pepper throughout the gemstone for a unique, one of a kind look. Mined in Botswana, cut in India. Measures 7.2 x 5.9 x 2.0 mm.

ROV7 - 0.90 ct oval salt and pepper diamond

A rose cut oval diamond with beautiful reflective surfaces and dark gray veins of inclusions. Mined in Botswana, cut in India. Measures 6.8 x 6 x 2.3 mm.

Light gray rose cut oval diamond that is translucent in the center and subtle inclusions towards the edges. Mined in Botswana, cut in India. Measures 6.7 x 6.0 x 2.5 mm.

This oval rose cut diamond has a warm white tint and beautiful clarity. Vibes of romance all around. It was mined and cut in Kalimantan. Measures 6.1 x 4.4 x 1.9 mm.

I dreamed of owning a hexagon diamond ring by Gardens of the Sun, years before my proposal. When it became my time to design my custom set, the team could not have been more helpful in creating a unique piece of wearable art. Maharani suggested a silver wedding band with blue sapphires to compliment my hexagon salt & pepper diamond ring set in gold - and while I had not originally envisioned my gold ring with a silver band, I was truly blown away by the end result!
