Rose Cut Moonstone Ring
This ring holds a rose cut moonstone set in recycled sterling silver. The stone sits low and present on the hand.
Moonstone connects to cycles and intuition. The moon moves the tide and the body follows its own rhythm in ways we don’t always understand. This stone supports emotional awareness, reflection and new beginnings. It’s the gem people wear when they want to listen more closely to themselves.
The glow moonstone is known for comes from layers inside the stone that bend light and send flashes of blue and rainbow across the surface. Those same layers can create internal lines and marks. Sometimes the stones with the strongest shimmer also carry the most visible structure within them. These two rings fall into that category. The glow is strong. The internal lines are stronger than what we usually accept. Instead of taking them apart for the stone and silver, we decided to give them an escape plan.

Recycled sterling silver
We work with a local refiner who recycles silver from post-consumer sources, like old jewelry, silverware, and even silver recovered from x-rays and other medical waste. This doesn’t stop new silver from being mined (most silver is a byproduct of other metals anyway), but it does cut emissions by about 8x compared to newly mined silver. And it keeps what already exists in circulation, instead of letting it go to waste.

My first piece came beautifully just as i had wished but there was a manufacture defect- and my necklace broke within minutes of putting it on :< I emailed the team and they replied very promptly. They offered the same necklace of other lengths as replacement alternatives but eventually offered to make a brand new one for me! The team who corresponded with me- Sovi and Tessa were extremely polite and plain joy to write to. Not once did they rush for me to send back the previous piece in this uncertain COVID-19 times.
