We’re making this for you, from scratch

Your custom diamond ring will be made to order with the rose cut freeform diamond of your choice in around 6 to 8 weeks for silver, or 8 to 12 weeks for gold. You'll receive a photo before we ship it out. The price is for one finished ring in recycled sterling silver or 18 karat gold.

Your custom rose cut diamond ring design

Metal

You can choose from recycled sterling silver, 18 karat yellow gold, rose gold or white gold. We use 18 karat ethical gold, which is mined and processed with traditional, mercury free, low impact practices by indigenous Dayak women in Central Kalimantan, Indonesian Borneo, who receive fair pay. Our white gold is nickel free and palladium based, which gives it a grayish tone. We offer rhodium plating upon request if you prefer a white metal shine.

Setting

You can choose between a bezel setting, which has the gold all the way around the stone and a prong setting, where small claws hold the stone. Not sure which setting is right for you? Compare bezel vs prong setting.

Diamonds in band

Want to add some extra sparkle? Pave diamonds in the ring band can really elevate the look of your ring. Choose between salt and pepper diamonds from Botswana (the rebellious budget option) or white diamonds from Canada (G-H color, SI clarity).

Ring engraving is on us

We offer complimentary engraving on the inside of your ring to personalize it even more. Our team will reach out to you after your purchase for details.

Conflict free diamonds

The diamonds used in this jewelry have been purchased from Indonesian artisanal miners. These diamonds were mined and polished in Kalimantan, the Indonesian part of Borneo island. These diamonds are natural and have not been treated.

Gardens of the Sun goes beyond conflict free. Since our sourcing policy came into effect in November 2018 we only purchase diamonds from known origins. We avoid sourcing diamonds from Angola, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Russia (last purchased in 2019), Sierra Leone and Zimbabwe.

Is it an engagement ring?

RCF2 - 0.34 ct freeform oval rose cut diamond with champagne color and warm brown tones. Mined by artisanal miners in Kalimantan, Indonesia. Measures 6.6 x 4.2 x 1.3 mm.

RCF3 - 0.33 ct freeform rose cut diamond in a wonky, irregular shape. Would look beautiful with a tiny diamond set on the top left corner, or some metal playfully dripping around and on the diamond. Light yellowish brown color that would come out well in yellow gold. Mined by artisanal miners in Kalimantan, Indonesia. Measures 5.8 x 4.8 x 1.2 mm.

RCF4 - 0.40 ct freeform rose cut diamond with a lopsided pear shape and a small surface reaching inclusion. Translucent but a little creamy, very unique. Mined by artisanal miners in Kalimantan, Indonesia. Measures 7.3 x 5.0 x 1.5 mm.

RCF5 - 0.41 ct translucent freeform rose cut diamond in a delicious triangular pear shape. Eye clean and white color but a little silky. Would look beautiful in warm gold. Mined by artisanal miners in Kalimantan, Indonesia. Measures 6.2 x 4.7 x 1.6 mm.

RCF6 - 0.53 ct freeform oval rose cutdiamond with a pale yellow shade. Included around the edge, with a wonderful vintage vibe. Mined by artisanal miners in Kalimantan, Indonesia. Measures 7.2 x 5.4 x 1.7 mm.

RCF7 - 0.31 ct drop shaped rose cut diamondwith a yellowish champagne color. Imperfect, a little wonky, and very unique. Mined by artisanal miners in Kalimantan, Indonesia. Measures 5.7 x 4.8 x 1.3 mm.

RCF8 - 0.46 ct wonky pear shaped rose cut diamond. Pale champagne color and inclusions around the edges of the stone. Mined by artisanal miners in Kalimantan, Indonesia. Measures 7.5 x 5.8 x 1.3 mm.
