The diamonds used in this jewelry have been purchased from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflict and in compliance with United Nations resolutions. Based on personal knowledge and/or written guarantees provided by the supplier of these diamonds they are conflict free and mined in accordance with the Kimberley Process.

Gardens of the Sun goes beyond conflict free. Since our sourcing policy came into effect in November 2018 we only purchase diamonds from known origins. We avoid sourcing diamonds from Angola, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Russia (last purchased in 2019), Sierra Leone and Zimbabwe.

• AQU03 – 0.99 ct, measures 6.6 x 4.7 x 3.7 mm, an oval cut icy aquamarine who has been around the block. A vintage gem cut in the United States in the 1980’s, it’s seen its fair share of change. An open soul who loves to travel the world.
• AQU04 – 1.26 ct, measures 8 x 5.8 x 4.4 mm, a clear spring oval cut aquamarine from North Carolina, a southern belle who knows that hospitality comes with a capital H. Wrap it in a yellow gold band to bring out its friendly and warm side. Since this stone has a higher profile, an open bezel setting would be the most elegant choice. A regular bezel setting or basket prong setting may look bulky.
• AQU05 – 1.94, measures 6.3 x 7 x 4.4 mm, a blunted marquise cut aquamarine that likes to explore the wilderness. Lightly included with a smear of a light brown color during its travels. Unexpectedly adventurous and bold. Since this stone has a higher profile, an open bezel setting would be the most elegant choice. A regular bezel setting or basket prong setting may look bulky.
• AQU06 - 1.84 ct, measures 10.7 x 7.2 x 3.8 mm, stormy with dark grey inclusions, this is aquamarine is a storm brewing, potent with power. The culet tip and the girdle are faceted and polished. Tiny "rain" inclusions, typical of beryl, visible with a loupe only. The color is a bright, very light blue with very light greenish undertones. GIA color designation is vlsgB 2/1. Measures 9.3 x 4.7 x 3.4 mm. 
• AQU44 - 2.01 ct mixed emerald cut aquamarine from Pala, California, USA. Cut by Renato Rossi in Rochester, Minnesota. This gem is very bright with excellent brilliance and light return. The culet tip and the girdle are faceted and polished. A small "feather" at one end. The color is a bright, very light, very slightly greenish blue. GIA color designation is vlsgB 2/1.
• AQU45 - 1.20 ct rich pastel blue aquamarine in a custom cushion cut. Mined in Malawi, faceted in Europe by Ravenstein Gem Co.
