Pearl and Herkimer Diamond Ring

The center of this ring is a small Herkimer diamond from the Ace of Diamond Mine in Middleville, New York. This raw diamond is technically a double terminated quartz, and has been paired with a tiny pearl on each side.

Recycled sterling silver

We work with a local refiner who recycles silver from post-consumer sources, like old jewelry, silverware, and even silver recovered from x-rays and other medical waste. This doesn’t stop new silver from being mined (most silver is a byproduct of other metals anyway), but it does cut emissions by about 8x compared to newly mined silver. And it keeps what already exists in circulation, instead of letting it go to waste.

Want to join in? If you have old silver jewelry or silverware gathering dust, you can bring it to our showroom. We’ll recycle it and give you shop credit in return.

Herkimer Diamond

A Herkimer diamond isn’t a diamond at all. It’s a quartz crystal with sharp edges and double points, one at each end. It couldn’t pick a direction, so it decided to grow both ways. Found mostly in Herkimer County, New York, these stones carry the energy of crossroads, open doors and writing your own rules.

Double terminated quartz is the rebel in the quartz family. Energy flows in, energy flows out, nothing gets stuck for long. Wear a double terminated quartz when you crave clarity with a side of disruption. For beginnings that refuse to stay small, and endings that open up new paths.

Let double terminated quartz shake up your story and lean into possibility.

How to care for your jewelry

Over time, silver tends to tarnish, reflecting its personal journey with you. Depending on your environment, exposure to air, moisture, chemicals, and sebum, this process can speed up. Many find that this natural aging adds charm and character to each piece of jewelry.

If you prefer to keep your Pearl and Herkimer Diamond Ring shining, a little care goes a long way.

Please care for your jewelry using the soft cloth included in your purchase. For a gentle, natural cleaning option, consider adding soap nuts to your order.
