Rough Peridot Necklace with Hidden Gems

She shines in the spotlight, charms like a dream, and lives for adventure. Featuring light green rough peridots, mined in Arizona, USA.

Each necklace features 5 gemstones and can be shortened up to 3.5 cm (1.4") with the special extension chain. As the gemstones are natural and rough, the colors and size might slightly vary.

The length you want out of stock? Select "pre-order your size". Just add a note during check-out to let us know what length you prefer and we'll make it for you in around 4 to 8 weeks. We make these in small batches so the turnover time may vary.

Peridot

Peridot is an August birthstone. The epitome of the warm August summer, peridot is a remarkable gemstone with remarkable roots. Its basic form, the olivine, originates from meteorites and comets formed billions of years ago.

With the sun as its energy source, its luscious green color is scintillating and brimming with life. This gemstone has been said to drive away dark forces. Use the peridot as a talisman, protection for you and your loved ones against the Evil Eye.

We use recycled silver from Umicore. This company is listed as a Conflict Free Smelter by the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMA), Chain-of-Custody certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), and complies with the LBMA Responsible Ag Guidance. Very satisfied nonetheless

This was my engagement ring and I love it ! True to size. Went down a little like recommended and it fits perfectly. Packaging was really sweet with fun details about the stone. Giving only 4 stars because I had to pay extra shipping fees for "remote area delivery" although the carrier they ship with regularly ship to my house and I never heard about my address being considered remote. Also, please note the gems are more of a dusty blueish tone. Although it's perfect for my taste and a color I really enjoy, the pictures represented show more of a white pearlescent tint than what I received. I'm very satisfied regardless but it's something that might bother someone else.

Hi Shani,

Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience and lovely photos. I'm sure your valuable feedback will help many customers when they're deciding to purchase the rough opal ring with hidden gems :)

I'm deeply sorry about the additional shipping fee and I understand your confusion. Please know that the shipping price stated upon checkout is the shipping price that Gardens of the Sun and FedEx has agreed to ship to the recipient country. Normally, FedEx or other shipping carriers are able to ship our packages to any address within the country without additional cost.

However, unfortunately, certain shipping carriers have their own policy and reasons why some areas are considered remote, hence the more expensive shipping fees. In cases like this, we'd find another shipping carrier that doesn't consider the recipient's address as remote so our clients don't have to pay for the extra shipping fee. It's unfortunate that your address is considered remote by both FedEx and DHL. You can find the list of areas FedEx and DHL consider as remote through these links:
https://www.dhl.de/dam/images/Express/downloads/dhl-express-remote-areas-service.pdf
https://www.fedex.com/content/dam/fedex/us-united-states/services/Zipcodes_OPA_ODA.pdf

I hope you understand that the remote location pricing is beyond our control and we don't have a system yet to automatically integrate the price with FedEx and DHL remote location pricing. Hopefully, a system like this will be available in the future. We'd absolutely use this to deliver a better customer experience on our website.

Yes, our rough opals have slightly different base colors and different colorful flashes. I'm so glad to hear that you love the opal shade in your ring and that it fits perfectly on you!

Again, thank you for leaving us a review. I'm excited to see your next order, Shani. Please let us know if you have another address that isn't listed as remote area or if you need any help before placing an order. We'd be happy to help!

With love,
Maharani

Obsessed!

I ordered this as my wedding band and its absolutely beautiful! I had to get my size made and the team was so nice and quick to respond, when I mentioned it was a wedding band they let me know about potential rubbing with a lower set engagement ring (not an issue for me) but it was great they communicated that. Its so beautiful and feels so me, I couldn't love it anymore!
