Conflict free diamonds

The diamonds used in this jewelry have been purchased from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflict and in compliance with United Nations resolutions. Based on personal knowledge and/or written guarantees provided by the supplier of these diamonds they are conflict free and mined in accordance with the Kimberley Process.

Gardens of the Sun goes beyond conflict free. Since our sourcing policy came into effect in November 2018 we only purchase diamonds from known origins. We avoid sourcing diamonds from Angola, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Russia (last purchased in 2019), Sierra Leone and Zimbabwe.

• CIT02 – 0.77 ct, measures 7.1 x 5 x 3.5 mm, one shade away from clear, this unheated citrine from California wants nothing more than to drag you to the outdoors and master mountains. Set in yellow gold to bring out the pastel tones. 
• CIT03 – 0.88 ct, measures 7.1 x 5.1 x 4 mm, a wistful and whimsical citrine, ethically sourced from California, this unheated citrine is a day dreamer who floats between worlds. A perfect companion for someone who likes to wrangle what ifs and turn the best ones into reality.
• CIT05 - 2.02ct, measures 7.8 x 7.8 x 5.8 mm, an asscher cut citrine from Brazil, colored like a glorious peach tea. Heated for color, cut in Thailand. Pair with a white gold band and salt and pepper diamonds for a hint of ice. Since this stone has a higher profile, an open bezel setting would be the most elegant choice. A regular bezel setting or basket prong setting may look bulky.
• CIT08 - 1.05 ct square cushion cut citrine from Brazil. High quality precision cut by Jeffery Davies in Son in Wales. Heated for color, shimmering yellows and oranges as it catches the light. Measures 6.3 x 4.5 mm. 
• CIT09 - 0.75 ct square cushion cut citrine from California, USA. Unheated. Measures 5.5 x 3.6 mm. Very pale and soft color, would make a beautiful diamond alternative. 
• CIT10 - 0.76 ct square cushion cut citrine from California, USA. Unheated. Measures 5.5 x 3.6 mm. Very pale and soft color, would make a beautiful diamond alternative.
• CIT12 - 2.66 ct pear cut citrine from Brazil. VVS quality. Heated for color. Precision cut in Thailand. Measures 11.72 x 8.87 x 5.78 mm. Warm honey orange color.Since this stone has a higher profile, an open bezel setting would be the most elegant choice. A regular bezel setting or basket prong setting may look bulky.
• CIT14 - 2.25 ct cushion cut citrine from Brazil. Eye clean and heated for color. Precision cut in Thailand. Measures 9 x 7.42 x 6.06 mm.
