You can choose from 18 karat yellow gold, rose gold or white gold. We use 18 karat ethical gold, which is mined and processed with traditional, mercury free, low impact practices by indigenous Dayak women in Central Kalimantan, Indonesian Borneo, who receive fair pay. Our white gold is rhodium plated.

Setting

You can choose between a bezel setting, which has the gold all the way around the stone and a prong setting, where small claws hold the stone. Not sure which setting is right for you? Compare bezel vs prong setting here.

Diamonds in band

Want to add some extra sparkle? Pave diamonds in the ring band can really elevate the look of your ring. Choose between salt and pepper diamonds (the rebellious budget option) or white diamonds (G-H color, SI clarity).

Conflict free diamonds

The diamonds used in this jewelry have been purchased from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflict and in compliance with United Nations resolutions. Based on personal knowledge and/or written guarantees provided by the supplier of these diamonds they are conflict free and mined in accordance with the Kimberley Process.

Gardens of the Sun goes beyond conflict free. Since our sourcing policy came into effect in November 2018 we only purchase diamonds from known origins. We avoid sourcing diamonds from Angola, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Russia (last purchased in 2019), Sierra Leone and Zimbabwe.

• YS03 – 0.64 ct, measures 4.7 x 4.7 x 3.5 mm, a round cut sapphire that is daisy fresh and lightly tinted. A playful lover of skipping and singing out of tune. Pair it with some Yogo sapphires for an added burst of color and an extra flash of fun. Mined and cut in Sri Lanka.
• YS06 - 0.72 ct, measures 6.6 x 5.3 x 2.5 mm, heated, mined in Australia.
• YS08 - 0.86 ct brilliant round yellow sapphire. Eye clean, vivid yellow color. Mined in Australia, unheated, and faceted by Abraham Gomez in the USA. Measures 5.5 x 5.5 x 3.8 mm.
• YS09 - 0.39 ct oval yellow sapphire. This oval sapphire is actually tricolor! It’s translucent white in the center and yellow at the top and bottom, and somewhere in between there’s a tiny dash of blueish green that’s visible only at certain angles. A mighty little yellow sapphire! Mined in Australia, and faceted by Abraham Gomez in the USA. Measures 5.2 x 3.4 x 2.8 mm.
• YS10 - 1.12 ct custom modified cushion cut yellow sapphire with greenish undertones. Ethically sourced from artisanal miners from an indigenous Dayak tribe who receive fair pay. Mined in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia. Cut in Vermont, USA, by Scott Maier. Measures 7.1 x 5.6 x 4 mm.

Your gold yellow sapphire ring will be made to order, with a production time of 8 to 12 weeks. Since your custom yellow sapphire ring will be made especially for you, we offer no returns or refunds.

Free Mockups Beforehand

You can get up to three free mockups for your custom yellow sapphire ring in gold before we start making it. We’ll show you different layouts and sapphire placements so you can see what feels right. You can tweak the design until it matches your vision. No surprises, just a fully customized yellow sapphire ring that feels entirely yours.

Pictures when It's Done
