Your custom topaz ring will be made to order with the topaz of your choice in around 8 to 12 weeks. You'll receive a photo before we ship it out. The price is for one finished ring in 18 karat eco gold.

Topaz

Topaz is the November birthstone. In a way topaz is like the sun— the source of all colors. Most topaz is colorless, but its shine is never overpowering. You might say it’s nearly invisible. To this, the Romans will say wearing topaz renders you invisible and guards you against attacks of evil. Handy in the olden days of wars, or modern warriors shattering glass ceilings.

A true candle in the dark, wear this gem if you’d like to slow down your restless mind and let go of that job that has been wearing you down.

Conflict free diamonds

The diamonds used in this jewelry have been purchased from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflict and in compliance with United Nations resolutions. Based on personal knowledge and/or written guarantees provided by the supplier of these diamonds they are conflict free and mined in accordance with the Kimberley Process.

Gardens of the Sun goes beyond conflict free. Since our sourcing policy came into effect in November 2018 we only purchase diamonds from known origins. We avoid sourcing diamonds from Angola, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Russia (last purchased in 2019), Sierra Leone and Zimbabwe.

Topazes for you to choose from

• TOP02 – 0.22 ct, measures 4 x 3.6 x 2.2 mm, a square cut topaz that is flush with the joy of spring, excited for adventures the long months of summer will promise. Wrap with a rose gold band for maximum passion. This vintage gem was most likely mined in Colorado. Featuring very precise lines, cut in the United States.
• TOP03 – 1.91 ct, measures 8.9 x 6.4 x 5 mm, a bold whiskey colored shield cut topaz, mined in the United States (most likely Colorado) in the 1980’s. A well-travelled happy soul who wants to compare destinations with you, and steal you away for spontaneous vacays. Since this stone has a higher profile, an open bezel setting would be the most elegant choice. A regular bezel setting or basket prong setting may look bulky.
• TOP04 – 4.17 ct, measures 9.1 x 9.9 x 6.8 mm, a sky-blue shield cut topaz from Colorado, reminding me of the topper most layer of the stratosphere. Cut in the United States in the 1980’s, it only descended when it knew for sure the space race was coming to an end. Since this stone has a higher profile, an open bezel setting would be the most elegant choice. A regular bezel setting or basket prong setting may look bulky.
• TOP05 – 1.06 ct, measures 10.6 x 4.7 x 3.3 mm, an irregular cut icicle topaz from Brazil, that will bring you news of secret penguin enclaves and polar bears tumbling into the artic sea with glee. Part of a twin, so you can match with a best beloved. 
• TOP06 – 1.12 ct, measures 10.9 x 4.7 x 3.4 mm, the twin visitor from an icy tundra far away (secretly just from Brazil). Wrap it snug and tight with a rose gold band to add warmth, or a white gold band if you’re ready to join it on adventures in a winter wonderland.
• TOP07 – 0.53 ct, measures 6.1 x 4 x 2.7 mm, an oval cut topaz in a lovely clear color, a babbling brook of excitement. Wrap it in a yellow gold band to sprinkle a warm ray of sunshine for a perfect summer memory of camping outdoors.
• TOP13 - 2.33 ct custom cut oval blue topaz from Brazil, irradiated. Since this stone has a higher profile, an open bezel setting would be the most elegant choice. Measures 10 x 6.5 x 4.5 mm.
