When you gave her your heart, a part of you worried she'd one day hand it back to you, broken and withered. But she tended to it until it grew, like a rose in English soil, until its glorious fragrance could no longer be ignored.

Zircon is such a cool natural gemstone! Gem lovers sing its praises for its flashes of multicolored light, incredible brilliance and color flashes of fire. It's often misunderstood and mistaken by the fake cubic zirconia. So just FYI: this is a natural gem dug out of the earth.
An awesome gemstone for artists, writers and creatives, said to double your charisma. Zircon brings a balanced boost of passion and understanding to relationships. No wonder it's considered a timeless gift for a friend or loved one getting married!
My favorite aspect is that it's such a great gemstone for sisterhood and getting along with other women. It's said to give women strength in giving birth, remove spirals of fear, and bless you with confidence.
Have a niece or daughter who just graduated? Zircon sparks curiosity and the pursuit of truth. A little wearable encouragement to pursue their studies!
Our white gold is rhodium plated, and the rhodium plating tends to wear off the prongs. So white gold prongs need more care and maintenance. A basket setting is a type of prong setting, but with a little difference when viewed from the side or profile. The prongs will rise up from a base or 'basket' into which the gemstone is set.
Additional small stones in the band
Additional stones on the side with bezel or 3-prong setting
We use 18 karat eco-gold, which is mined and processed with traditional, mercury-free low-impact practices by indigenous Dayak women in Central Kalimantan, Indonesian Borneo, who receive fair pay. We mix this gold ourselves, in-house. There may be minor color variants between rings, as the gold we receive from the miners also has small variations in level of refinement and still contain some trace metals.
The price will be automatically adjusted depending on the stones and design you choose.
Thanks so much! Amazing communication throughout the process. And worked with us perfectly to get exactly what we wanted.
Thanks so much!!!
I proposed to me girlfriend (now fiancé!) this last weekend and she absolutely LOVED the ring. It was everything she was hoping for and more! Gardens of the Sun has been the best choice every step of the way. They made us feel personally valued and loved from the very beginning and gave us an absolutely beautiful diamond ring!
Dearest Gardens of the Sun team,
Wow. I do not have the words.. but I’m going to try my hardest to write something anyway.
I love the rings so much. The opal is even more gorgeous than I hoped. I love how there’s a whole world hidden within. There’s a bit of host rock still showing through which makes it so unique. It’s perfectly imperfect. The pictures really did not do it justice😍🥰 the colors are amazing! One moment it’s pale milky green, another it’s blue with streaks of purple, orange and green.
Together with the nesting band it really is the most stunning set. Thank you so so much. I’m going to treasure them forever. Sending all my love and gratitude to your entire team. I’ve really enjoyed the entire process and everyone is so nice and helpful. The best!
From the time I excitedly stumbled across Gardens of the Sun to the time I received my incredible little package in the post, I have loved exploring the beautifully unique pieces of art on their website, talking with Miri and Tessa over email about the incredible ethics and workplace values of this business, and spending a long time carefully designing my ring with the help of the girls... and I can not fault any of the process. I am so so happy with my custom, oval, dark brown/ salt-and-pepper, Bornean diamond in ethical rose gold, even with the beautiful engraving of ‘mo leannan’ meaning ‘my love’ in Gaelic (my husband is Scottish and wanted to buy me a new engagement ring)... all my friends are now asking their partners for new engagement rings too! ;)
I love everything GS stands for, they inspire me to dream bigger and beyond the making money part of business, involve local community, care for the environment, and focus on the uniqueness of everything you create.
This process has been more than a purchase, it’s been a life lesson, with an incredible show-stopper of a ring to remind me of it everyday!
Thank you to everyone at GS for all your help, thank you to all the miners in South Kalimantan for your careful work to ethically source these pieces, and thank you to the Creator of the land for allowing these carbon formations to take place, producing all the impurities which make beautiful salt-and-pepper diamonds :)
