We work with a local refiner who recycles silver from post-consumer sources, like old jewelry, silverware, and even silver recovered from x-rays and other medical waste. This doesn’t stop new silver from being mined (most silver is a byproduct of other metals anyway), but it does cut emissions by about 8x compared to newly mined silver. And it keeps what already exists in circulation, instead of letting it go to waste.

First of all, the product is absolutely beautiful—it looks exactly like the pictures! I was also pleasantly surprised by how fast and easy the delivery was. I had a few questions during the shipping process, and the team at Gardens of the Sun responded quickly and kindly, which I really appreciated.

Just a heads-up: you may need to pay customs if your order is under a certain amount (like in my case), but the process was super easy to manage. The packaging was full of thoughtful details, making it feel extra special when it arrived.

I do have one regret though—I should have bought more, because everything is just gorgeous!

Stunning custom opal ring

I had a fantastic experience working with Shenny, from picking out the perfect stone (she sent me additional pictures of the ones I was interested in), to creating a mockup so that I could see if yellow gold would look good with the stone, to keeping me updated every step of the way after that. When the ring was finished, she sent me final pictures, and I had a chance to request any last changes. The ring was shipped out promptly after that, and I received it in just a few days even though I am in the US! When I put it on, it fit perfectly. The opal sparkled with its hidden fire in a variety of different lights, and my breath was taken away. I will truly cherish wearing this ring. Thank you Shenny and Gardens if the Sun!!

I chose Gardens of the Sun for my, now fiance's, engagement ring because of their ethical practices and unique desings. Tiny birthstones... did NOT match the photo example or mockup

The ring I received was definitely more of a STACKER... not a ring like the one pictured in the Double Birthstone Ring example photo. The stones I received are extremely tiny, about the size of the band. If I knew I'd be spending this much and waiting this long for a tiny stacker ring I wouldn't have ordered it. I was expecting something similar in size to the image on the website, the stones are much bigger.

I am disappointed because I ordered this for the birth of my daughter, who is due in one week. I received it just in time after waiting 2 months for it. When I opened the box I was so underwhelmed, I wish I hadn't been anticipating something completely different this entire time. Even the stones in the mockup they sent were a lot bigger. I can't emphasize just how small the two birth stones are.

The design was right and the customer service was very friendly but the size of the stones is so unacceptable. Disappointed...

Did you find the birthstone size chart on the product page? There you can find the size of each birthstone in mm. We also sent you a photo of the ring being worn before shipping it to you. We take these photos so our clients can see the actual size of the stones on a finger. Did you find this portrayed the size of the stones better than the mockup? Is there something we could have done to give you a more accurate idea of the size of the stones?

The mockup was taken up close and prepared on paper instead of a real ring. I'm going to get the team together and see if it would make sense for us to put the stones on a real ring and provide both up-close and full finger photos for future mockups.

In love with my "Us" ring!

I got this ring, not as a birthday ring, but as "Us"/"anniversary" ring...where my birthday stone is on one side, my husband's is on the side, and our wedding date's stone is in the middle. I love the fact that I could pick and choose what stone and shape I wanted, so I got my ring in shades of blue. And I absolutely LOVED the pictures they sent prior to them sending it...and the fact that they wanted to make sure I loved it BEFORE they sent it was mind-blowing. And then once it got here, I fell in love with it again. And Yes, it is a "tiny" ring, but I knew that going into this. But from the stone fact sheets, to the BEAUTIFUL box (love the leaf imprinted on the blue!!!)...it was more than I was expecting. And Honestly, the thing I love the most was the tiny dried flower with the ring. To me, it's the little things that get me - yes, the ring is exactly what I wanted, and I love it, but it is the pictures that were sent prior, the box and the tiny flower, that make it special. So for me, this isn't a 5 star, it is a 10 star.
