Each earring features a custom pentagon cut tsavorite garnet from the Merelani Hills in Tanzania, cut by Scott Maier. The stones are bezel set in 18 karat Kalimantan yellow gold. The pair of green garnet earrings is intentionally slightly mismatched.

We use 18 karat ethical gold, which is mined and processed with traditional, mercury free, low impact practices by indigenous Dayak women in Central Kalimantan, Indonesian Borneo, who receive fair pay. Our white gold is nickel free and palladium based, which gives it a grayish tone. We offer rhodium plating upon request if you prefer a white metal shine.
