Metal

You can choose from 18 karat yellow gold, rose gold or white gold. We use 18 karat ethical gold, which is mined and processed with traditional, mercury free, low impact practices by indigenous Dayak women in Central Kalimantan, Indonesian Borneo, who receive fair pay. Our white gold is rhodium plated.

Setting

You can choose between a bezel setting, which has the gold all the way around the stone and a prong setting, where small claws hold the stone. Not sure which setting is right for you? Compare bezel vs prong setting here.

Green sapphire and diamond ring

Want to add some extra sparkle? Pave diamonds in the ring band can really elevate the look of your ring. Choose between salt and pepper diamonds (the rebellious budget option) or white diamonds (G-H color, SI clarity).

Conflict free diamonds

The diamonds used in this jewelry have been purchased from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflict and in compliance with United Nations resolutions. Based on personal knowledge and/or written guarantees provided by the supplier of these diamonds they are conflict free and mined in accordance with the Kimberley Process.

Gardens of the Sun goes beyond conflict free. Since our sourcing policy came into effect in November 2018 we only purchase diamonds from known origins. We avoid sourcing diamonds from Angola, Democratic Republic of Congo, Israel, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Russia (last purchased in 2019), Sierra Leone and Zimbabwe.

• GRS31 - 0.49 ct blue-green sapphire from Australia, heated, measures 6.5 x 3.3 mm. Heavenly in the most serene shades of pale green and porcelain blue with a hint of milky white.
• GRS40 - 3.37 ct blue-green pear sapphire from Australia, heated, measures 12.6 x 9 mm. A gorgeous play of green and blue colors and streaks inside. Like the magic of the deep sea was hidden inside this magnificent and majestic sapphire. As the largest stone in this collection, it has awesome finger coverage and is a statement piece that will spark conversation and curiosity.
• GRS41 - 1.12 ct, measures 7.1 x 5.6 x 4 mm. As green and zesty as a splash of lime, there’s a sense of summer stashed in the lust sparkle of this sapphire.

• GRS46 - 1.28 ct pear cut forest green sapphire from Australia, cut in Thailand. Heated, measures 9 x 5.2 x 3.4 mm.
• GRS49 - 0.53 ct oval olive green sapphire from Australia. Heated for color. Measures 4.6 x 3.6 x 2.5 mm. Would look great in a low profile bezel setting.
• GRS51 - 1.24 ct custom cushion cut parti sapphire. Octagon shape with a pentagon pavilion. Eye clean, untreated, no heat. Deep green color with vibrant green sparkles as the stone catches the light. Mined in Australia, cut in Thailand. Measures 6.5 x 4 mm.
• GRS52 - 1.60 ct custom cushion cut parti sapphire. Angular cushion cut. Eye clean, untreated, no heat. Combination of greenish yellow and streaks of dark greenish blue that Australian parti sapphires are so well known for. Mined in Australia, cut in Thailand. Measures 6.9 x 5.4 x 4.6 mm.
• GRS53 - 1.04 ct emerald cut green sapphire with distinct blue color zoning for a striped effect. Unheated. Mined in Australia, faceted in the USA by Abraham Gomez. Measures 7.7 x 5.0 x 2.8 mm.

This sapphire looks a dark olive green with hits and flashes of gold, but if you look at it from the right angle, you can see it’s actually olive green with distinct golden and dark blue banding and color zoning. • GRS57 - 0.77 ct kite cut parti sapphire. This Australian sapphire is green with tropical blue banding, resulting in a vibrant and colorful gemstone. Faceted in the USA by Abraham Gomez. Unheated. Measures 7.3 x 5.5 x 3.3 mm.
• GRS58 - 1.05 ct round green sapphire from Australia. Included up close, but its beautiful green color steals the show. Unheated. Faceted in the USA by Abraham Gomez. Measures 5.9 x 3.9 mm.

• GRS61 - 0.51 ct oval mint green sapphire. Sweet, dainty and eye clean, with a beautiful glow. This oval green sapphire was mined in Montana, USA, and cut in Thailand. Heated. Measures 5.1 x 4.1 x 2.7 mm.
• GRS62 - 0.60 ct light green sapphire with some hints of blue in an oval shape. SI clarity. This little Montana sapphire was mined in the USA and cut in Thailand. Heated. Measures 5.2 x 4.0 x 3.1 mm.
• GRS63 - 0.38 ct light green sapphire. This oval sapphire was mined in the USA and cut in Thailand. SI clarity. Heated. Measures 4.7 x 3.3 x 2.4 mm.
• GRS65 - 0.53 ct octagon cut light green sapphire. Ethically sourced sapphire from artisanal and small scale miners in Pelmadulla, Sri Lanka through Nineteen48 Ltd. Cut in a responsible cutting facility in Sri Lanka. Unheated, eye clean. The very low profile of this gemstone would look great in a bezel setting, great for everyday wear. Measures 5.3 x 5.4 x 1.6 mm.
• GRS66 - 1.57 ct leaf shaped blueish green sapphire from Central Kalimantan, Indonesia. Ethically sourced from artisanal miners from an indigenous Dayak tribe who receive fair pay. Cut in Thailand from a 3.10 carat raw sapphire. Opaque. No heat or other treatments. Measures 9.3 x 6.0 x 3.4 mm.
